About Me
Hello, I am Corentin Mahieu. Welcome to my personal website, where you can find some programming stuff, publications and security research findings. I am mainly focusing my career into offensive cybersecurity programming and research.
I am currently working as a RedTeam Operator intern at Credit Agricole S.A. bank in France for 6 months. My current focus involves malware developpment and research about malware extensions. I am covering all the creation process, from developping my own C2 server, deploying and injecting the agent in a browser.
I am a software engineer graduated from the National Institute in Applied Sciences, in Rennes France, with a master’s degree in Computer Science, in 2026. The previous year, I did one exchange student semester in the University of Luxembourg where i studied offensive security, cryptography, static analysis and software deloppment. During my studies, I also did other internships in the banking field. I worked with a CISO and among a CERT team on different defensive-oriented topics like, SIEM deployment or even threat intelligence missions.
In my free time, I enjoy diving into various cybersecurity topics that I find genuinely interesting whether it’s low-level development, offensive tooling, or infrastructure and network security. I like to experiment, build things, and break them to understand how they work at a deeper level. I really appreciate learning new stuff by following courses like MalDev Academy.
I regularly participate in CTF competitions (Capture The Flag), which I find to be a really interesting way to sharpen practical skills across web, binary exploitation, reverse engineering, and more.
On the certification side, I hold the eJPT (eLearnSecurity Junior Penetration Tester) and the Cisco Ethical Hacking certification from Cisco Networking Academy. I am currently working towards the CPTS (Certified Penetration Testing Specialist) from HackTheBox Academy.
